Only good advice i have is DONT. In my opinion, it's ghetto looking.
christopher, off the dragstrip there isn't an advantage, other then looks. He's asking about a wide tire swingarm.

There was a time I was thinking about building one but after riding one would never own one unless I had a lot of extra cash but here is some of the info. I got. Good luck!
He takes the stock rear wheel and can add up to an inch on both side of the rim so you can put a wider tire on with using the stock swing arm. I have seen his work and been to his shop and he dose go work. I don't have his website but here's his info..

Long swingarm, or wide big tire one, all worthless and hinder handling and performance.
Unless you drag race it. All the time. Because you wouldn't be able to bring it into my mountains and follow me without crashing it. Heh.
Or if it is a trailer queen and all you do is unload it and ride it slow down a straight street. But then you are in Sturgis territory.
Most of us laugh at the bikes OCC builds because they lack rigidity and are nothing more than trailer queens. So why go that direction with the mighty ZX14 if you aren't building a drag bike?

I'd rather spend the money on a turbo kit, push 5 psi into it and be AMAZED
