My name's Tim. I just bought a blue '12 zx-14R. This is my first sportbike, but I've been riding cruisers for a few years. I have wanted a big sportbike since I was 18, but never quite pulled the trigger until this weekend. I am looking forward to lurking around here for awhile.

The dealer had an open house today with a bike show, it's amazing how many looks my stock bike got. Especially with a modded Busa and a nice R6 on either side of mine :)

This 14R is news to everyone who rides.Somewhat of a celebrity status thing already...or whatever you'd call that.You know...people wanting to just SEE one in person.ENJOY!!!!She's all YOURS!It only gets better from here on out!

Just got here myself.I went to the dealer that I bought my Monster to look.They had none left.I know how fast mine is so the new one must be a missle.Be careful.

Oh, for sure. I probably won't ever see the top end of what this bike has to offer, but that's not why I bought it. I got it because it's a (mostly) comfortable ride, smooth, it handles great, and has more power than I'll ever put to use. My riding style is smooth back road riding, and I may take it to the strip eventually. But for now, I'm just enjoying the ride. And I can't ask for more than that.

Well, I have 1189 miles on it since March 10. I am ABSOLUTELY pleased with my purchase. It does everything I want it to, and looks amazing doing it. The only thing I don't care for in the looks department is the exhaust, but I may change that eventually. Performance-wise, I am thrilled. No further explanation needed.
