EK 530 MVXZ chain...

any comments? Not EK's top chain but I ain't drag racing, clutching up, or doing smoky burnouts, not that anything wrong with that. Just sport tour miles with hard accel here and there.... will use rivet link, rather than their screw link or clip.... I found stock chain very decent for longevity.

zat the stock chain? Good choice. Got a lot of miles out of mine and could have gone longer.

Good idea to stay away from the screw type master link. sounds a little dangerous unless you are removing the chain a lot. I'm not a fan of the clip master link either. I went to the EK ZZZ 530 and it had spacer plates that were inserted while the master link gets pinned. Makes joining the links perfectly a snap. Maybe the MVXZ has the same setup.

The screw-type master link is a permanent link and cannot e removed and re-screwed. The nuts that come with it perform the function of a riveting tool and then the threaded parts break off when you're done. I have used one with that very chain and there were no issues. The MVXV won't last as long as the ZZZ, but it doesn't cost nearly as much either.

the zzz is a better chain but got a mvxz unsued for 60 bucks. Thought I'd get your guys opinion before strapping it on. The screw link is kinda cool cause I don't have rivit tool yet. Thanks for the input...
