Yep it's incredible. (I'm From Nova Scotia). I keep telling the guys here in Toronto, you haven't lived until you ride the edge of the Ocean. Don't get me wrong there is some straights lol

its a must do ride ,but do it counter clockwise and stop at Alices restaurant,you can eat any thing you want excepting Alice.

Rode it in 2012 - awesome ride, except for about the first third of it. Got stuck behind a pack of about 300 Harleys doing a fund-raiser ride. It sure felt awkward working my way through them, but eventually made it to the front and was able to "really" enjoy the rest of the ride. They had a photographer set up to take pictures along the route, and when I got home I checked their website and was pleasantly surprised to find a nice shot of me on my 2008 BMW F800.

You're exactly right on both counts. I had to go through a couple hundred thumbnails, but eventually found it.

I know what you mean we typically go back through the tristies a few times if stuck behind the cruisers

You're one lucky dude to live close to that ride. We travelled from St. Catharines, ON by motorhome pulling a small trailer with my bike in it. ( About the only way of doing it with a wife that doesn't ride and two big dogs!)
We ultimately ended up in Pinware River Provincial Park in Labrador, and I got to ride from there up to Red Bay, part of that on a brand new piece of highway that wasn't open to the public yet - oops! We ended up doing 8100 kms. in six weeks. Next time will be at a more relaxed pace now that we have our favorite spots picked out. Eastern Canada is such an amazing place to visit - really looking forward to going back.

Awesome keep an eye on the Ride4acure site for 2015. We will be there again for it. My wife is from newfoundland and we have two Newfoundland dogs as well.
