Will my bike work with a good US ECU, thoughts?
I am fixing up a "repairable" (Wiped out RHS fairing and minor bits.) 2014 ZX14R ABS and I think my ECU might packed it in. I am doing more tests to confirm today. Tests on wiring, from the service manual, show wiring to the speedo panel are not broken as continuity is good.
I have looked at used ECU's and can only find USA sourced in good condition but the part numbers, USA 21175-0714 or other listed 21175-0838 (One seller wrote"2012-2015 Kawasaki ZX-14 ECU #21175-0714 Also works with part# 21175-0838), don't match the Australian version 21175-0712.
The wiring harness part numbers do match USA/Australia exactly so I guess ECU pin assignments would be the same.
