Yes the fella that did the woolich tune to my bike is a zx9r drag racer so he probably assumed .....................
Im pretty good with throttle clutch , power to the back wheel thing, when I raced speedway, dirt track and long track I was in the top 3 fastest starters and even out gated Todd Wilshire who was known to be fastst in the world.
On dirt getting that bike to sing, on the back wheel to turn one was always a thrill 0-100kph or 60mph at 2.5 seconds on dirt .
Never done drag racing though, At my mature age now Im thinking of running the 14 at stock height down the 1/4.
With all the electronics these days to learn I can just pin it at 3k rpm and use the quick shifter.
I just cant decide 3k rpm or 3.5k rpm to learn
I hear ya Hub, back in my day we had dry clutch plates, a cable and a bloody lever, none of this hydrolic 2 step slipper stuff
