I just found out yesterday I lost my best friend sunday evening in a motorcycle crash. I have spent countless miles riding with him including many years racing motocross in the WI circuts. Been biker buddies since kindergarden. Please guys keep your helmets on your head where they belong. May we ride again someday Todd. 4-18-2010 R.I.P.

Man, that's tough. So sorry. Ya know, I'm just introducing the world of motorcycling to my best friend and I keep it in the back of my head that the chance of him having an incident is much greater since he lives in the big city. I'm telling him all the usual stuff - avoid major freeways when possible, ATGATT (All the gear all the time), pretend you're invisible, stay out of the blind spots, etc etc. I worry about it probably more than I should.

Thank you for all your kind words, this saturday is my 43rd birthday, I will be spending it at the cemetery saying my final farewells to my best friend. Todd lived an exciting life with many trophies in his room to prove it, and he would also rub my nose in every chance he could, I feel the worst for his daughter who will grow up without a father. Make sure you all give your kids a hug when you get home,, I know I always do.

I'm very sorry to hear about loss my friend. All OUR loss. "Another Riding Brother Goes Down" But we all know that we could be next. There are way to many idiot drivers on the road.
