Hello performance fans, I picked up a beautiful Atomic Silver 2008 ZX-14 from Bobz Bikz in Kingman Kansas yesterday.
I have had quite a few bikes over the years CBR 954, K1200 RS, Aprilia RSV1000, etc..., but this
ZX-14 is the most awesome bike of the bunch!! The 150 mile ride home was highly exhilarating.
I'm looking forward to learning more about this fine machine from the forum.

Thanks gentlemen, I'm thinking a good winter project will be getting CBLASTED !!
I've searched, but haven't found how to remove the ECU.

I am not sure for your year, but for the 2012 and up's it just sits in a rubber sleeve with two wiring harnesses plugged into it. Remove the harnesses and pull. Not much of a winter project ;) but you will love it nonetheless.

Enjoy and welcome.

Welcome. Your ecu is under the seat, all the way back on the bottom in a rubber sleeve. You'll have to remove your tool box to gain access. Ride safe and have fun.

Thanks wfozx14.
jimmymac, I still remember the old Kawasaki ad that stated: ENVY IS STILL GREEN
I really like the Atomic Silver though, and the previous owner has her good to go.

remove tool pouch under seat then remove these screws...you will see the ecu...two plugs take apart (easy) and that is it...I just did mine today just to take a look at it because I am going have it cblast soon

sorry, I don't know why my picture is coming out sideways
