Lost my license yesterday. (Yeah, the cops took it. lol)

I was riding with my girl and dad, and i lost them because yeah, i am on a ZX14. So i decided to pop the throttle a bit and before i knew it a BMW undercover police Motorcycle went past me and asked me to stop.

Went like 150 km ph (not Miles!) on a 80 road.

Everyone seems to laugh about it (including me) except that i can't use my Car to work now. SUUUCKS!

Considering adding a laser jammer (not legal in Illinois, but what the hell) The Illinois State Police have point-and-shoot lasers and if they light you up, you're toast.

How long until you get your license back?

Within 10 days i will get a decision on what will happen.. It is my first time getting caught with these kind
of speeds, so i think the penalty won't be too much.

Hoping on a small fine and a warning. lol

Hell back in the day when you got a paper ticket and they stapled your license to the original copy till court came around. Cop would look at the staple holes or multiples of and let me know they were going to add to them. I am old enuf to have had the old paper license with no picture on them.

That was back in the days when everything done on a bike was not a felony.

Sounds like you are taking it well. All you need to be concerned with is insurance. Going fast is worth the fine $$ IMO. Just can't stand the longterm ins hike. Your young. This is no big deal.

JUST DON'T LET IT HAPPEN AGAIN. (for a decade or two).

Seriously, these things really make you watch your back as you say. Just don't go fast unless it is a place where no one is watching......and still plan ahead....what if I get caught....how long has it been ...how big of a fine....

when I get to be like 80, if I live that long, I am going to go one hell of a ride and I don't care if I loose my license or if they garnish my food stamps and social security checks until my fines are paid. I'm tearin' it up, mofo!!!!! 35 years and I'm their worst nightmare!!!!!
