Yep boys it was inevitable. Two little kids, a new job and a move. She had to go! I sold her to a happy owner and watched that stretched beauty get loaded up and trailered away. Sure will miss that ole girl. Onto a new chapter...

Totally understand man. If it doesn't fit in your life, move on and revisit the fun later. I had to take a long 6 year hiatus from it, and just got back on one.

How ya doin Rook my man! Got a question for ya! Might as well jack wolfs thread! When you are runnin the Vortex rear-sets, did ya ever have clearance issues with the gp shift pattern? I have just the slightest amount of interference and I'm thinkin that's just normal till I tweak position???
They work flawless in normal pattern shifting, just wanted that gp pattern shift on Priscilla dangit.

I have not converted my Vortex to GP shift yet, C. I plan to this season when I get a chance. I have heard that placing the heim joint to the inside of the shift knuckle will hold the linkage rod clear of the fairing. Or else you just need to dremmel a small piece out of the edge of your left lower.
Here is the thread where I starte dthinking about this. Andypandy has 3 pics that show exactly what the clearance issue is with GP shift on the 14.
There are a few other threads that will be helpful if you search "GP shift" here on the forum.
I think someone said they went with a shorter bolt and low profile nut and that was enough to clear the fairing.

Good one woolfman.......
Hey Cbast... I bought some ebay rearsets and had same issue...A quick and easy fix i did..Add a spacer between the frame mount of rears sets and adjustable foot peg bracket.
I did a rite up on it .. Your text to link here...
