Low beam cut off.

I hate how low the cut off is on the low beam headlights. Has anyone dug into the headlights and seen a shutter? Is there a way to remove it?

I had a projector headlight I once removed the shutter and it make a world of difference for light and internal heat.

Not really sure what your question/issue is??

There is no shutter, just two adjustment screws to align the beam

Projector headlamps don't have any shutter. HID low/high beam lamp has something like that to eliminate glare. THe cut off is the projector lens design and there is not much you can do to change as far as I know. Changing the bulb to HID? or like Cruderudy says, adjust the lamp...

I adjusted mined up and out a few degrees. Makes all the difference int he world. before, anything more than about 35 degrees in a turn couldn't see anything. Now at night it's pretty darn good visiblity.

Projector headlight do in fact have a shutter/shield. Old man, I just told you I took one a part and then you responded they didn't. Did you think I was lying? It makes no difference wether they HID or incandescent. Bi xenon/ hi/low bulbs often have a solenoid on the shutter to move it up or down. (We do not have this)

The last pic was a projector headlight I modded.

I thought it would rock to eliminate the cut off (shutter/shield on the low beams
