Speedometer Repair
09/14/13 7:45 AM

I had the Speedometer healer thingy installed yesterday, it works nicely, but, I think my fueling and maps are not not working like they should. I've got the symptoms of almost out of gas at around 5k rpm on and off the throttle whereas I didn't have this before. Ideas?

Remove speedohealer...see if that resolves it.

Going to take it in to have it checked out, now, it appears to be in a lower gear, meaning, say I's 3rd or 4th, it indicates this, then, it indicates one less gear, it drops down to 3 from 4 but stays in 4th gear (of course because I didn't downshift). Prolly going to dump those stock pipes again, and get something else, but not those ratty Muzzy's!

Do you have the TRE with the Speedohealer? The 'healer only modifies the signal from the countershaft sprocket to the Speedometer. No way for it to affect anything else. Fueling is controlled by throttle position and crank position sensors.
