Everyone is trying to get over the shock of the time change. LOL

I hate it getting dark so early.

Holys@#$. I was actually able to post something. Guess the forum gods are not mad at me anymore. (joke). Tried off and on for a month or more and, always got an error msg.

Dark here at 530....Winter here we come;)

Late fall. A lot of people are putting their bike away. The talk was slow last winter, for sure.

Im working on everybody elses bike and doing the honeydew list, remodeling and stuff

Still riding till it snows F it! Lol

I'd be ridin as well...but now the roads are iced up....it's OVER for me for this season;)

I have to get the bike back together to winterize it. I'm still planning to have a few rides before I call it quits.

Come december I might be the only one in Canada riding a zx14. As long as there's no ice and snow I'll be out there.

Certainly depressed in some ways with this horrible weather and loss of riding. I can't believe it's probably going to be at least eck...5 months. So long...so damn long, I am just in so much denial.

Yeah..maybe...but ya don't get the THRILL of getting yer baby out for that first ride of the year deal....priceless!

How's this for a thrill. From 2008-2014, I had no bike at all so I'm making up for lost time.

Rode this evening, 39 degrees with a wind chill of 34, we're about 30 degrees colder than normal but still rideable.

10 more days of this crap is forecast here in Dallas before any warm up, blame the polar vortex or whatever they call it.

I feel for some yall. Still riding here in Northern Cali. I cannot imagine having to winterize, and park for months. I would go nuts.

Hey there ZXinit. Both my sisters have ranches in Cottonwood and the wife and I are looking at buying land up that way for retirement. Maybe we'll see you around there.

That would be cool. Always looking for folks to ride with. I make it down to SF now and then for VA appointments. Maybe yall could show me some interesting rides down there. LOL

As for Cotonwood, not a bad place to live. Especially compared to the Bay Area. Can actually carry my "friend" in my waistband here. Of course, I can carry down there too, just alot harder to get permission. HAHA

Tell you what ZXinit, this spring if you want to ride some roads down here let me know. I have a breakfast loop we do on some real nice roads in the Santa Cruz mountains. And if you need a place to stay our place is open. We plan to ride up to visit my sister when spring come too. I'll keep in touch.
