I admit, I've been so darn busy this year with my school studies -- full time student, and, with my Media Blasting taking off that I've had no time to tinker and play, even ride my 14! Sad! However, thanks to B. Gordon's secondary 'flies he sent me -- which I've reinstalled in my bike (bringing it back to stock - yet may try some Ivan goodies), and oil change, and some other sundry maintenance I've finally got it all back together, running and it needs a tire installed, and a good cleaning. Also, the battery was toast which I replaced it. One thing that drives me nuts is Kawasaki has nuts everywhere, unlike Honda which uses few fasteners and a more enlightened approach to fastening things together -- at least I have no screws left over!
I'm getting some GIVI bags and want to just plain ride it, with 'stuff' as needed and required. I don't race/track days anymore b/c I don't have time, and can no longer afford to get hurt as when I was in the Army full time! So, my Zed Sled is going to be used for commuter and long sport touring mode. I still have the Ducati for some tear-up sessions as I feel the need, and, my WR450 for some dirt blasting; so, I'm covered on all fronts. Me and Kruz were playing keep up with eachother, but, he's eclipsed me in toys, amounts of toys, and, sadly he can have the insurance premiums too! :)
I sold my 954, cutting back on stuff, and, no need for it. If I could buy a new Connie outright with cash, I would, and just try to sell the ZX, but, with times the way they are, figure on keeping the stuff I have as is; including keeping the Avalanche; and no new toys for a while till I can pay cash.
Oh well, this is reality!
