Ducati Diavel V4 bought

Well, the '24 Yami MT-10 SP didn't last long (https://zx14ninjaforum.com/messages.cfm?threadid=712A448B-FAAD-FCC7-9B51AF9BF5AEF4FB) It was "OK", nothing much really wrong with it at all; it just didn't make my juices flow, which to me is pretty important in a bike, especially when you only have one bike. My only real issue, which I would only rate about a 3 out of 10 with 10 being unlivable, was the throttling while taking off from a stop: It's pretty weird, makes you feel like you're gonna stall the bike even tho I never did. It feels like Yami capped the throttle input you can give the bike when starting from a stop, maybe to save fuel, not sure. I wouldn't bother trying to drag race it, unless that can be resolved. Anyway, I'm not a racer, so it was just mostly a kinda of annoyance, and something I didn't get used to after 2,500 miles. I trailered the bike up for our annual 5-day Dragon / NC / TN ride trip, and again it was fine, just didn't love it. And I really tried to, to the extent that I added quite a bit of aftermarket stuff to it, including replacing most of the body work with amazing looking glossy carbon fiber, slip-on, radiator guards, rim decals, added a top case mount, bar end mirrors, to the point that at the end there was nothing else I cared to do to it, except sell it ... which I did a couple weeks ago: Traded it in on a red 2024 Ducati Diavel V4. Always have been intrigued by sexy Ducatis, but was also always concerned about reliability. Visited our local dealer and saw a red V4 which got me lookin', and I was pleasantly shocked to learn that the valve adjustment intervals are 36K miles! And oil changes at 9K miles! I'll do them around 3K anyway, but good to know Ducati thinks only 9K is needed. And touching and inspecting the bike it sure feels better built than Ducs of the past ... crossing fingers! I will say the bike has zip for utility as stock: nowhere to put anything, under seat is big enough for the registration and a pack of gum, that's it! Side cases are available but they're $1,500(!!) and not waterproof! Nobody makes a top case mount, yet(?) and maybe nobody will; time will tell. I have a 'sport' windscreen coming that should give a little more wind protection, but so far wind up to about 80 is actually pretty darn good. At home with the still amazing, reliable, good lookin' big Mama Kaw ZX:

She got a big ol' booty:

I set my top case on the rear just to see if it might work and how it looks, thinking I might be able to mount it to the passenger seat. If I go this route I'll but a 2nd passenger seat I can hack up, remove its cover and padding, and bolt the top case adapter directly to the passenger seat pan. The bike also has an extendable / retractable passenger grab that sticks out the rear, and I think I can incorporate that into the attachment for added strength; the passenger seat doesn't seem held on securely enough to trust it alone supporting a top case. We shall see. I'm also enjoying the naked bike feeling of just taking helmet, jacket, gloves and bike and Go! without packing a bunch of junk that requires a case(s).

I'm already dreaming about my next bike but I have a shite ton of money to spend on the new 14R plus refurbish or re-buy a Gen1 just like my 08 wreck only not wrecked.
