Gauge cluster swap?
12/06/18 7:33 AM

Will an ABS cluster work on a non ABS bike or will there be an ABS light on the cluster the whole time?
Thanks gents, trying to fix up a wrecked bike and the cluster housing is really scratched up etc

My guess is look at both clusters and if both have an ABS light in the same position, then yes. Make sense?

2012 had no abs in North America hence my question as I am not sure if they revamped the gauge cluster a year later when abs was added.
Thanks

I'd guess no on the revamp. Shop manual for second gen shows a 2012 publication. If this manual is for the 2012 on up and this is for my 2017, it shows abs as a pinout (if applies). So you'd assume it is the same cluster from '12 [on up]. Dis be a claimer: "Ain't my dime I guessed wrong you shelling out coin."
