Sometimes I hate making changes that you don't think should affect anything and it does.

Had the gutted 2008 stock header with a right side only Scorpion slip on that dynoed out at 175 and healthy down low and the upper rpm's. Got a hell of a price on a Leo Vince full stainless and carbon can and got it. Did the install and the bike runs good except dead on the very bottom. With the old system it was a 2500 launch and hold on and now 2500 and it almost dies but runs great other than that.

Guess it goes back on the dyno but sure did not believe that another full exhaust would make that much difference

Air flow. The black art. Who was that 2-stroke pipe builder? Anyway, he said an 8th of a difference or some small inch, would alter the expansion chamber's performance. So, if that short a cut off the tip occurs that minute... Believe it.

I don't remember what his last name was but the bill part is right and from Florida.Everything went smooth with him so no complaints from me. I have never put on a 13 pc header but went together easy and looks fantastic.

Lytnin- WHat do you think of the new pipe? Quality? Fit & finish? May I ask what you paid? Have an opportunity to get one for about 915 currently and thinking about one for new 12.

Yes, it is Bill Wirges. He made the very best expansion chambers (pipes) for the H2 of all. I had one on mine.

Don't know whom of you were around riding bikes or driving Hemi Cudas in the mid 1970s but you may have been stoplight dragging your muscle car when a little green or blue 1972 H2 pulled up beside you, and proceeded to stomp you into dust. The H2 was the absolute KING of the streets.

If you spent 10k or more on performance for your car, you could beat it. But by then, you could have purchased 3 of them.

Of course, if you ran in your car into the twisties, the H2 would either stop pursuit, or kill the rider. We didn't call it the "Widowmaker" for nothing.

my 1st bike was a 1974 500 Kaw in late 1973. I then grew up on the 2 strokes with a total of 5 500's and 2 750's.

3 of the 500's and 1 of the 750's were titled and insured at the same time.
