BST report
09/19/10 7:27 PM

Ok off road the bike was easier to negotiate and avoid ruts and potholes.I know thats not what you want hear. Now on road she definately accelerates and brakes harder, either that or my corsa III's are defective and not sticking, now going thru corners she felt nice, she felt lighter, but wait a minute,I normally run this road at 130kph ,now I'm at 140, better yet I have a calibrated speedo healer now so I'm accually running 20 kph faster and she feels I could run a lot faster.Due to hand operations I havent been riding all summer and I'm favouring my hand and not riding these roads as hard as I have in the past .I definately feel they are worth the bucks

When the bike isn't clean the rims aren't obvious,to day a couple of 14 owners were looking at my exhaust system and never noticed the rims,I like it

I can assure you that's not it lol. The power pures are not sticking under power either. My new rims took all summer to get use to. Oh ya, front end is now light and walks easily coming out of the corners(careful, careful)under power. With the BSTs being that much lighter your going to have some fun, weeee. Cold pavement now, ekkkkk. Congrats.

THAT'S exactly my concern here.Lots of guys said the bike will handle a lot better...go quicker, stop quicker. But no one has mentioned(until now)the behavior of their 14's in curves at high speed.Interesting.I'm all for lightening my bike..ya...but it was designed for a certain weight ratio, and I'm pretty sure the designers had that in mind when they designed the wheels for our bikes. So I'm not so sure myself that I'd want to risk highsiding because the bike's weight was the same, but the wheels allowed it to get squirrely somehow.Just a thought. They are sweet wheels.I do a lot of higher speed cornering...so any input about the weight transfers at speed and cornering would be awesome!Be careful with yer new rims there!

Yup,2ND.

If their is a down side,,,,,,, Na no down side. Blue, you would love them. Thinking to much maybe ? First mod for better handling. Go for it.

I do a lot of higher speed cornering.

This is what the doctor ordered. You guys don't get our cold pavement. 9cel right now

Darryle, I would love a set! They are made in SA, but are pretty expensive here. What did you pay in USD conversion? In SA they are about 4100 USD equivalent. That should make your handling very sharp indeed. Best mod you can make after a pipe, IMO. I am Kawa green envious!!

in canada they are the same price plus shipping and taxes,I'm pretty lucky as a friend of mine owns Hindle Exhaust so I got a great deal off the list price. In Canada they will cost between 4500 to 5000 that includes tax and shipping.depending on what province your in.On This road didn't really notice much difference in handling

Damn, you think you wasted your money? Maybe your tyre pressures are wrong!!! Or, maybe you were in the wrong lane! That is a two lane highway, right? Brilliant purchase.Cheers.
