Hey Guys-
Been looking at the site for a little bit. Looking forward to pulling the trigger on a new leftover 2016 green ZX14.(dealer wants $10900 out the door, best price I could find so far)
I have a couple questions though. Since I've never driven the 14 yet, just wondering how much vibrations shake throughout the bike, especially buzzing in the handlebars, compared to a ZX11, which I will be coming off of.
Since I'm getting older (47) I notice that the vibration of the ZX11 is starting to get to me.
Thanks for any info, great site!

Welcome to the site... 10.9 is a superb deal on a '16. Vibration? Are you kidding me? the ZX14R is super smooth..no worries. The ZX11 is a ton of years behind the mechanics of the ZX14-R

What Will said.
I still have my 92 ZX11 and compared to my 06 ZX14 its night and day in both performance and rider comfort. I can only imagine the 16 would be even better.
Go for it, you won't regret.

Having had 2 CBR1100XXs, and an 06 ZX14, I can honestly say that vibrations are NOT an issue on the 14R, easily the smoothest (and fastest) bike I've ever ridden. Great GREAT deal too on that bike. You are going to love it!

Like the other guys said, the ZX14R is very smooth ... smooth, rocket thrust acceleration. I've never owned a bike this smooth or this fast before.

This bike ruined every other bike I owned. Nothing compares to the fun. I sold all my bikes. I never used one of them again. I sold my ZX14 but I am going to replace it in the spring. I can hardly wait. It is world class fun.
It says I just joined here just a short while ago but I was a member pretty much from the beginning. Good smart people here.

Well, not yet. Seems last Friday that the dealer and I had a difference of opinion of what "Out the door" meant.
I was expecting to drive the bike home, they said "Oh no, you still have to pay tax, title, and license."
Anyways, I'll have to get a little bit more saved up now.
Sure am anxious though, everything I read points this to being an excellent bike!

Taxes of course need to be paid but sometimes depending on the dealer will toss in the assembling, title fee etc. this dealer doesn't sound like he's willing. Now is probably a good time to buy because it's the end of the year and need to get rid of the leftovers so you're in a position to nego. Good luck !
