Never heard of anyone using genuine cruise control but Throttlemeister throttle lock seems to be the most widely used. KOAKO seems to be used pretty much, too. I have a KAOKO. Not installed yet. Seems like it would work just dandy as long as you have stock grips or grips the same length as stock.

I'd try one of these. This one is more expensive because it has a tension gear which would seem to be very useful for maintaining the throttle position.

You can find this sort of lock without the tension gear on Ebay for about $12.

Should work for at least a minute or two while you stretch. Maybe longer.

Or you can go the cheapass route. Looks good to me. Can't beat FREE.

I've seen a picture someone posted based on the cheap ass version made with a sturdy zip tie. I'm heading to bear this weekend so I'll give it a try.

Throttlemeister is a work of art. There's nothing better if you're after a throttle lock that doesn't look like a throttle lock. They work great.

I've been using the "BrakeAway" model on anything that it will fit (including the ZX14R cycle).

Pricey, but I like that if I reach for some brake, it releases the cruise lock.

I didn't see any that cheap (12$) either, well worth the 20 bucks anyway. 7/8 is the size.
