Hi,
I have a 2012 ZZR1400 and love it,but not to comfy with the seat, and my pillion is not
comfy either.
What I would like to know is do I go for a Corbin or a Sargent seat ?
Cheers TTPAUL.

Saddlemen
Rounder on edges and softer and shapr conforming everywhere. SOme have complained about the fit
Whatever you get, I'd make sure the seat and cowl fits the ZX-14r. I think the seat is a transferrable part but the seat cowl is different between the Gens.

It is a cool looking seat... Even looks great without the cowl. Also very comfortable. I wish they could have lengthened the riders seat portion all the way to the cowl for low sport riding positions but the seat is a bit lower which help to tuck down. I have a long torso so I can use extra distance.
As far as fit, that seems to be the issue. See link to other thread posted above.
The 14 r has a different cowl which does not flow as nicely with the vinyl and fabrick panels on the Tech Style. It will fit though. It pops the seat cowl up a bit more on mine. I don't really even notice it any more. Might have compressed down since being on the bike a year. AFAIC, it is the best looking aftermarket seat, you can use the seat cowl with it (unlike some others) and it's more comfortable than the stocker. If the fit isn't perfect, the looks and functionality take precedence over that.

I've just ordered a sargent single sports seat and lockable rear storage pod/cowl. Will take about 6 weeks to make its way to Australia. Will post pics as soon as I get it fitted .All the the good stuff comes from your neck of the woods!

Very cool! Dos that have a cable type lock? If so, never, NEVER do what I did. Disconnect the lock cable and forget to hook it up again, then close the lid. Did that with my busa hump. Had to stick my arm in under the back of the seat and feel for the lock mechanism. Was like delivering a breach calf except probably a lot tighter.

All I know is that the pod/trunk is lockable with its own key.It has a built in led light and felt lining.
Stores about 3 litres in volume. Carbon finish.Posted the url link with pics (hope it works!)

'Jordan, Bravo, you bought yourself a high quality system that will look after your nether region. The trunk looks to be quite functional too.' So you know his ole lady???
