hi, got a modified seat on a,2007 bike, does anyone know if this will swap over to a 2012 model bike, basically, are they still the same seat.

no replacement for displacement

I believe it will.

If it is an OEM seat pan it will fit. I have had several other years on my 2012 including a 2006 and a 2009. They fit the same as the stock pan but the seat cowl doesnt fit well over the older seats as the padding contour has changed.

Yes they will. As stated by racer, I too swapped a 2006 on a 2008 and a 2008 is now on the 2013. Drops right on and locks without pushing down on the seat.
