Hi All. After 14 years on my Hayabusa, I am thinking of getting a ZX14R. I found a new 2012 in blue that I really like for $12,000. Now I found a 2013 in white for $12,171. But I really like the blue color. Are there any differences between the 2012 and 2013 that I should consider? Neither has ABS. Or should I wait for 2014. Thanks, Bill (moved)

Wait for the 14 if you want to spend more money... Otherwise I would either get the Blue, Blue or Blue. Whichever one you like better, white does look nice though.... But you like the Blue...

No differences performance wise. Strictly up to color preferences.
However.... You could just build your motor to a 1441, raise your compression ratio, and put down around 220 or so to the tire for around 5 grand. Your choice.

If all the options are the same, and if neither have ABS then the options are the same... Save cash and get the Blue one... and its not like I am biased ;-P
I have never been an a 'busa' but I have seen pretty in depth position diagrams and the ZX14 is more ergonomically comfortable from a technical perspective... However everyone is different and I am not saying that everyone feels the same. I can say that I have personally ridden mine over 1500 miles in 4 days and other than a little pain in my throttle wrist (hmm wondering why LOL) I was completely fine.

Easy there Wolf. You do know the BLUE's are rare because law enforcement lobbied congress to limit the import of them because they don't have anything fast enuff to catch us. ;-p

The original kawasaki colors are Green white and purple
but I will say Blue and Black are my favorite!

Bobby that bike is Sic bro! I love the classic colors! We need a retro Kawi paint scheme custom done in a modern way for a predator race team bike!
