Went over the Bighorns from Billings down to Hardin Mt,then Dayton,Wy.Little foggy on top and drizzly.Had to meander a little to get the 46,000!!!Then I hit the little bird That makes 18 now!

Congrats--you hold the most miles title on a 14 as far as I have ever heard anyway. Still looking like new!

Watch the birds--'specially the geese and wild turkey.

WEird- I have had a couple near misses with small airborne birds lately, too.

That's what you bought it for...to ride. Mines still a baby, only 6,700 miles. But I'm leaving on a week long/2,000 mile trip through parts of four states Monday afternoon. Other than a 1,200 mile trip to the Yosemite area in '08 I've never done any long distance rides, so this will be new for me.
My '79 GS1000 has over 140,000 miles. She's more comfortable than the 14 but she's semi-retired now.
