My personal observation is that there are a number of girls who play the "dumb" role because (i guess) they discovered early on that some one will help or do it for them if they appear helpless. This goes double if they are generally considered to be more than average attractive. Beauty starts to play a part in social interaction pretty early.
By the time woman reach there mid 30s-40 years old they drop the dumb act after having perfected it so well anyone would swear they were dumb as a brick. I think that age starts to creep up and they need to start relying on other methods which they have developed over the years to influence us. It demands more effort than the beauty spell, I am sure.
Ever notice that you can tell any woman under 30 on the telephone? They all are Valley Girls under 30, pretty much. All have that softness in there voice. Then mid thirties hit, POOF --no more Valley Girl. LOL
OK, I am a chovenist, I guess. I call it being a realist. Just to be fair, I'm sure there is some sort of male phenomena that parallels the female dumb act.

I was thinking the same thing. She could not possibly be that unintelligent unless she were retarded. Even if she was hopeless at math how could she not know her husband was making a fool of her and on film.

no, they don't but they often last a very long time when women marry a wealthy man. There is a rather high percentage of fit and trim milfs at my kids school. being good looking is there job. no disrespect. that is fine. it has always been that way. women DO want to be taken care of. i don't think that has changed as much as we all say it has in our politically correct conversations.
so if this guy has married someone who is really as naive or dumb as she appears to be, he needs to accept that he will be taking care of her and quite a lot of care by the looks of it. Could work, I guess. I think there is an obvious problem with mutual respect. That is not taking good care of your wife if you are outwardly disrespectful.
