What works well for you?
Is it easy to apply and buff? Does it last? Thanks for any help.

Turtle Wax ICE paste polish works well. Apply just like wax. Buff with micro fiber cloth. Fills in fine swirls and they seem to disappear for ever until new ones form. Have never tried any of the others but so far, I'm pleased with this stuff.

I second the turtle wax ice, but when I want to use a little more elbow grease I use S 100 polish and wax. No white residue and works great.

Liquid glass, Its alot of work the first time you use it because you have to remove all the old wax with a cleaner thats made by them or use mothers cleaner. Its used on aircraft and boats also.

To much to list!

+1 for Eagle 1

Have used it on cars and bikes for the past few years. Easy on, easy off, flawless finish.

I think the painter is wrong. Wax protects paint. After a coat of wax the bugs and stuff come off with less rubbing. Excessive rubbing is bad for paint or any kind of coating. Some waxes even help minimize sun effects, which is the worst thing for paint or other coatings.
The paint is clearcoated but waxing makes it so much easier to clean. Seems like common sense to me.
