Found this very informative picture on the California Superbike School Cornering Forum. I'd have to say I ride more like the first guy, lot's of lean and more centered on the bike although depending upon the turn I will hang my bum off to the side and shift my weight down and to the inside of the turn as in picture four but I prefer to keep my knee tucked in.
I always thought the extreme hang off shown in the third pic looks a bit goofy, that's usually the one you see when someone is trying to corner a bike with limited ground clearance i.e. cruiser. that much movement on the bike upsets my balance and the suspnesion on the machine. I prefer to use subtle and smooth body inputs to keep things calm.
Here lately all I've been hearing about is going knee down, as in "yea, I may be slow as hell but I can get my knee down"! I see limited usefulness of this on the street, track yes but street I don't think knee down is too smart.... JMHO.
