Will a 55 profile tire cause my speedo to be off?

I just put on a 190/55 profile and was wondering if my speedo be off now?? And if so by how much? Mine is a 2012 14r thanks

Actually it will prob be more accurate with the taller tire. The speedo reads fast with the stock tire.

I put the same on mine. Haven't really noticed any difference. Pretty accurate till around 70 them starts to fall off from there. Reads 100, actually 95.

Thanks speedyme. I'll be watching this one. That's good info dericrey. Does anyone have any actual information on how accurate or innacurate the factory speedo is, or have a comparison verified by their GPS etc?

From the magazine articles I read about the 14r's they said the speedo is pretty much off 2 mph at all speeds under 100. I want to say it reads 2 mph higher than real speed. Which would make sense with the 55 profile tire being 3% taller, and smatlock42 noticing it was 5mph off at 100. 3% + the original 2mph.
