Coldest for me was around 27f when I left in the morning for one ride last fall, but the daytime high was around 50. warmest was umm, 95f ish. I don't even like to be out if its much under 40, but as a starting temp for a nice day, its ok.
other than that, I wont ride any colder and hate getting stuck in traffic when its warmer. so those are my limits.

0 deg F when on holiday once, in winter, in Kings Canyon / Sequoia Nat. Park in Ca. (Why would I take a holiday in mid-winter to a high elevation park? Yeah, call me crazy :) I was wearing jeans and an Army Green BDU coat (with the liner). Yup, insane more like it...
105 - 110+ F every summer day. Jeans and a shirt. (Got better gear this year for Xmas).

meb,
PLEASE don't go out in t shirts and regular jeans, I got some kevlar jeans and they got me through a bad accident,
And my jacket did also, it is mesh, but you can take the liner out, and is very cool, it is inexpensive too !
Has light armor, so it isn't hot to wear... Here is a link, and if you use the coupon code FACEBOOK11 you should get an extra 10% off ..
Not trying to tell you what to do brother, but I care about ALL you guys, and don't want to see you get road rash (or worse) that could impact you for the rest of your life ....
Take care, car-abuser

I have ridden in the teens and also 110+, neither of those are my favorites!
Heated grips and a heated jacket liner gets me through the cold most of the time and a mesh jacket with hydration vest, ventilated riding pants and a camelback does it when it gets hot.
I prefer riding in the 60's - low 70's, but will take what I can get

Thanks very much for the concern. My wife beat ya to it :)
I have alot of mesh clothing that I now wear very day, every ride.
But, thanks. Really.
