Are the paint codes stamped on the bike somewhere? I thought they would be on a label on the bike somewhere but I don't see it. Thanks

^^there was no red 2008 model. At least not in the US. Silver, Midnight Sapphire blue, red/matt black were 08 colors. There was a red 06.
Perhaps you made a typo. Did you mean coloright makes the 06 red but not the 08 red? They are indeed two different reds. If coloright doesn't have the 08 SE red you need for your bike I would ask a dealer if they can order some touch up paint. If they can't get it, you could always bring in the belly pan to a paint shop that has a spectrometer and have them match the color. I'm sure it would be very close although you may not be able to get the metalic glitter.

If you look up the panels for your year model,on a partsfiche website(cheapcycleparts)is one-it will display the paint code in the description of the part,i.e.,CPL-723 or something similar.I think then you can go to the colorite website, and get the exact mixes of the ingredients matching your number from the parts website.
