YES, one of the more exhilarating experiences I've had riding. Sure wish I had video. Might just go back and do it again for the record. I'm very familiar with this corner. Sometimes try to spin the wheel a little. Just popped Romans map in tonight and went for a test ride. I took the corner like normal, not really trying to spin but on the gas a little hard coming out. Yes, it's uphill a bit which encourages wheelies but I never had this happen before. I'm on the gas only about 25% and I feel the front go light. Then, "holy SHIT, I'm on one wheel and the bike is still leaned in!" I know it was up for a little while because I remember thinking pretty much those words and seeing cars in the opposite lane coming at me. LOL I DON'T CARE----I love that there were spectators, captive or not!!! Imagine what they were thinking?? LOL, "bikes coming out of that corner on one wheel!" tell you the truth, I am pretty sure I was not breaking the speed limit. I guess I rolled off a little because I don't recall there being hard decelertion. The landing was not silky smooth but at least I know the low torque spec on the Ohlins will hold up to a small power wheelie. The roughest sensation was the steering whipping back on track. No wobble. The steering damper is there for that. Might be a good time to have that puppy serviced.
