Hello All!
Recently impulse bought a 2010 ZX14 from the local BMW Motorrad dealer who was desperate to unload it. You can see from my username that I am not a stranger to hypersport bikes (owned 2001 and 2005 Hayabusas as well as a 2008 B-King) but I'd never considered the -14 before until I saw the one I bought. To be honest, it was the colour that initially attracted me, I'm a sucker for red bikes, and the low firesale price sealed the deal.
Well, the "spirited" test ride helped too....
Although my first bike back in 1994 was a Yamaha, I've been a Suzuki guy for most of my riding career. It's only been recently that I opened my garage to a couple of Triumphs (getting old, liking the retro style a lot these days) which are very nice bikes. As I said, the Kawi was an impulse buy even though I've continued to browse online classifieds daily for another 'Busa to bring home but something about this 14 spoke to me and to be honest, it is superior to the Gen 1 Hayabusa in many ways... I guess this is to be expected being a fresher design!
