Matt black looks really cool with black leather. It says SHOEI on the front ..if you spend the doe, might as well have credentials in full view. The adjustable height sounds like a great feature. I have not been impressed with my Shoei RF-1100 over my other 2 lids, an Icon and a $16 Zox. The Zox is my favorite. Granted, the Shoei is too big for me but I feel it pulls to the side like a wind vane where the others don't. Hopefully I would be happier with the updated earos of the X-14 but seems Shoei should have had that perfected already. I don't see air flow demands on a sport bike helmet changing that much in the last 20 years but maybe I'm just pissed because my most expensive helmet is worse than my cheapest.
