So.... I need new fairings for my 06, and their is a set off a 2012 on craigslist for $300... Any problems with them mounting on the Gen 1s? Other then the headlights I don't see a problem?

I have a brand new '06 front cowl in Passion Red, the insurance company bought me a new one but the old one had such a tiny scratch I never bothered to change it out.

No thanks. And you say its a different design, but why wouldn't it work,
If you buy the entire kit and fabricate brackets 4 the bolt holes it's a maybe. a pro could do it, if your that guy, Yes, if not Don't waste your time. Guys above giving sound advice.

uhuhuh--I wouldn't even try.
Kawi would NOT make it that easy. They'd sell a lot less 14rs if some of us could just do a quick external equipment swap.
