I bought a tank with the float still in it. Accurate little piece. Detailed arc like the fuel/water bars, reminds me. [Don't let ww hear that]
Yeah, so I tried to shoot a close up and it was too much of a blur. I gave up, threw it back in the tank. I wanted to show worroll the detailed gauge. Here is what I did. I positioned the main body plate horizontal to a panel on the sliding garage door. Watched the float in the high position, then swing to the low position.
I'm not in the position at the moment to go out to the garage, and try hooking that up to the bike's harness, watch the float move, see how much is left in the tank when I can level the tank on the sliding door channels, move the bike in position so as to snap together the float. I want it near the tank, so I can get an idea how much you can draw a horizontal line to view how much is below the float on the empty range?
Give me a couple of days. Why I didn't take the camera to it, waking out the steps anyway. Here, let me slap myself where I can extend my loop without stopping for gas. I'd like to know that too.
