Go to Concours Owners Group Forum and lurk around and you will find good first hand information.

I ride with COG a lot, and am a member. Quite a few of them have grafted ZX14 pipes onto C14s. I have stood right beside of them in parking lots and talked to the owners. There is even one who grafted the top end of a ZX14 to the C14 bottom end, thus keeping the shaft drive but getting a lot more horsepower.

If you cannot find it, create a guest account on the forum and ask in one of the C14 topics. The site hosts C10 and C14 topic sections, plus "others", plus safety, for-sale (emporium), and a few other topics.

Pretty sure the C14 has a lower red line. Does DynoJet spec a different part number for the PC3/V?

Redline doesn't matter as far as the piggy, it needs to be plug and ECU compatible though. The map has to be written for the engine, too, of course.

EDIT : Romans can find that out at COG too. :)

Big site. I did not register but read until I almost went blind. Nothing on PC-5 swap.

Yes, Romans, very nice bike. Would buy one if the tank was bigger. It really is nice being able to do 420km + easily like on my ST1300. The GTR1400 as they are called in SA would be my only bike if they could do that. Downside of the Honda ST1300 is a 5 speed gearbox and nowhere near enough power.

LOL then they weren't pictures of a "2012 ZX14" but of a 2012 C14, or some other make/model.

Glad you like the C14, they are great bikes. Well balanced, good power, great handling.
