Cleaned and waxed my body work and re-installed,figured better re -install my map.WTF the PCIII is not communicating with the computer,OK I switched to an I-mac over the winter,damn apple! lets get out my pc laptop and try again,still no go,try another usb cable,still not working,checked my connections problem solved I had by passed the PCII last fall and not re-installed it.The moral of this story,Excessive beer makes ones brain go fuzzy

Ya these Macs are nice once you get used to them but No worky with DJ stuff. I was planning to get a Dell laptop for tuning . Still have my huge old Dell sitting here just in case I need foe DJ.

I'm having a very strange situation with electronics, myself. Weird thing, i rode the bike about 70-80 miles and it worked great. Now I turn the ignition on and I get a flashing instrument cluster with a loud ticking like a stopwatch. and all I get is a tiny click when I hit the starter. I think the stock battery is shot. HOPE that's what it is.

I got a Dell D620 laptop (dual core) from NewEgg refurbished for $249 and some change. It has one slight scratch on the cover, and works great. It is faster than the towers that run my domain servers.

I bought it just to run DJ's software. So I guess you could say, my ZX14 owns it.

Did all of the above. Checked grounds. Battery terminal neg was quite corroded and ZI just cleaned two months ago. No crank over . She won't do it. Just a click. Have checked voltage on chager and got 12.7 off charger 11.7 saw 9 at one point. Shorai is going in now. Cross your fingers.

Put the Shorai in and the instrument cluster is looking totally normal. Too late at night to start the bike now.
