Pegs, exhaust, radar
07/09/25 12:31 AM

Did some wrenching earlier on the bike and I am ecstatic. I put the voodoo mini mega in and I love them. I put some lower pegs from murphs kits and its much more comfortable and lastly I installed an adaptiv tpx pro radar. I have one on my connie and it works really well. It also has a warning light, I installed it right above the screen. Using the accesory wires in the front it took about 30 mins and I love that its switched so I dont have to turn it on and off manually. I also put in the t-rex racing engine guards too.

That's a nice collection of bikes but you know which is my favorite! Great to see another 40th Anniversary Edition. That exhaust fits in the fairings perfectly and the blue tips are a nice touch. Is that the stock license plate bracket fit to the mudflap?

Thank you sir. I feel in love with the 40th anniversary when I saw it. I knew i was going to get one. It took a year but I finally found one close.

I completely removed the factory fender. That is a license plate bracket I got off of ebay for $30. My friend and I both have one on our connies. Its a great little bracket for the price it even comes with a light. I just cut the connector off of the factory one and wired it up to the new light so its still all factory connections. When i saw the blue tips on the voodoo website i had to get them and im glad i did. They look so good. My friend was laughing because I did all these mods and dont even have a plate or the papers for the bike yet. I dont know if the dealer is slow or the OMV.

I remember a post from years back where someone used the reflector brackets to make a license plate holder. I just bend a couple pieces of aluminum with holes in them. The holes in the mudflap match up with the holes in a license plate, at least they did on the Gen1. There was also a bolthole in the perfect spot for a lightbolt to be put in.

Nice scoot! I think the AE is a nice color combo, but I am more subtle than necessary to ride it.

I like to try to re-purpose things or do some dabbing but when I know i can get something fairly cheap, quick, does the job well and decent looking. I will take that route 99% of the time.

Thanks big. Yes it is a very cool combo and it brings me back to when I was a young lad first discovering motorcycles. I remember seeing the the 94 zx-9r and i feel in love. That bike and the cbr 900 from back then started my love and passion for bikes as a kid. I wanted one of those so bad and I said when I get older I will have bikes.

The ZX7 was the first I saw with that color scheme. I was first learning to ride on my Katana 750 and only saw taillights until a stop light or stop sign.

You know big now that you say that the zx7 may have been the one I saw. I know they did the paint scheme on a couple different bikes and it was a little different on each one. After some looking it was the 7. The zx 6 and zx 9 where a little more smooth like the 40th

The zx7 was close but a little more 90s with the zany lines.
