I've had my bike since new. Never had any problems. Tonight I added STP octagon booster to the fuel and did a rolling start to about 130mph. The bike now seems like it's running on three cylinders at lower RPM's. I need help figuring this out.

Hey...and
'STPĀ® OCTANE BOOSTER
Helps restore horsepower by removing deposits and cleaning the fuel intake system'.
If I had to guess,I'd say it broke loose some deposits and got in your injectors.Hopefully.Run another one through there.Fill with new fuel.Try that.It was 'fine' before. It'll be fine again. No telling how much stuff was stuck in there when it was 'fine'.Since it built up over time, you probably wouldn't notice anything goin on.You might also try some 'techron Injector Cleaner' instead of that stp octane booster.Kind of a misleading name actually.Octane is octane.Does it actually have a higher octane?I didn't see anything about higher octane on their website.
Their explanation on their site says..cleans fuel system parts so the 'lower octane' fuel can work properly, instead if having to go up in octane.Paraphrased.So they covered their arses by saying that.It actually does not 'boost octane' like from 87 to 91 or anything. The label is misleading. This guy actually had a mileage drop using it.I used the product in the yellowish bottle twice(two runs)Did it clean anything?Honestly,I don't know. That product wasn't an octane booster.I've used the Techron cleaner.A couple of times.I guess they help clean things up some?
I'll add this though..The Kawasaki manual does not recommend adding stuff to the fuel.Must be a reason? This I find kinda interesting...
