I told the dealer politely, that I thought it was a little dear for a couple of slip on's. The R77's I bought cost me a little over $800.00 delivered, very happy with them, not to loud!
Bean it will be interesting to see what the current price is if you go to a local dealer.

Well finaly gor off my a$%se & ordered these.
Only $ 595.00 delivered to my door!
Instead of going down the PC V route, I will have it dynoed by a local guy who can remapp directly to the ECU, will let you guys know how well it turns out. Anyone able to tell me how much louder these headers will be?
I am going to use the R77 slipons I already have, cant wait!

Neilp, let us know how the flash goes, I often wondered why more people dont try doing it through the ecu instead of using a fuel managment system, with all those wires to each injector etc ... seems like there should be a way to do it through the ecu ....

There is its cheaper & the PC V only changes every 2nd cycle not every cycle as the ECU does, so the fueling is more accurate.
Anyway will let you guys know once I get it done.

Sorry guys missed a couple of posts here, the guy that is doing this for me. Guy by the name of Ozzy Graf, he has told me it will be around $ 400.00 says he needs to do around 4 to 5 dyno runs to get the mapping right.

Interesting bit of info I just received from Akrapovic. I was reading their fitting instructions for the headers last night (see previous posts) & noticed they didn't talk about the OEM exhaust gaskets, I have seen this debate on at least 1 other forum. So I sent an email to Akrapovic to see what the story is. I was very surprised today to get an email from the Australian distributer for Akrapovic (gasimports.com.au) that Quote "There is no need for the stock gasket." end quote. I am now somewhat confused, & dont know whether to use these gaskets or not! My gut instinct tells me to go ahead & use them!
Thoughts - Opinions???
