EXHAUST
10/10/12 1:41 PM

i know there are a million threads bout exhausts for the zx14. i just bought D&D slip-ons but they were too loud for my liking so im trying to sell them. they're great pipes but for the money i didnt want it to sound like i was running straight pipes.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/08-11-Kawasaki-ZX14-D-D-BLACK-EXHAUST-/251165744178?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a7aa51c32&vxp=mtr

im iffy about buying a full system although if the price is right i may go ahead with it. does anyone have or know good slip ons? ive been looking into Two Brothers. im also leaning towards the Yoshimura R77 full system the only drawback to that exhaust for me is the 4:1 piping id really like to stick with the duals although i hear nothing but good things about that system, and i love the look as apposed to Brocks. any thought or opinions please!!

I have a set of 2 Bros aluminum slipons in my garage in a box.I liked them but I wanted more power. But theyre alot more quiter than my Brock header. Some people say theyre too loud too.I didn't think ao.

they say the Two Bros is too loud or your Brocks?
the D&D i got sounds exactly like not having pipes on it at all. sounds great under heavy acceleration and reving but wen im just cruising it gets to be annoying. plus why did i pay for an exhaust if it sounds like nothings there haha. i deffinetly want a meaner exhaust because the stock one is just wayyyyy to quite so if i can find a happpy medium id buy it in a second.

Brock offers an insert, at least on some of his pipes, in case its too loud.

I have the Yoshimura TRS slip-on's and really like them. They have a removable insert...my preference is to leave them in.
