Almost.Well the 14 is doing what it was a year ago.But this time it quit me 200 miles out of town coming back from WSBK in SLC.Rode fine going down last Thrusday but on the way home Tuesday it srated tuning off and then finally just quiting.Hit the start button and nothing than maybe 10 minutes later BAM it starts up and runs for a bit or little longer.I don't even know wher to start now!!!

well if you was in texas i can fix it ..i would start with the grounding terminals .water and them make for a bad day ..

Ditto on the ground terminals, it sounds like they're working intermittently. I had the same thing happen on my ZX-10R after the PCIII install. Would run and then just quit, bad PCIII ground was the culprit. Go through and make sure all the grounds are tight and clean, on the 10R they all ground to one common stud on the frame so it's easier.

If the battery died, it's probably your reg/rec. Check the charging voltage. It will run off the battery until the voltage gets low then..pffft... dead.

Loose battery cables. Let me know if you want that stumbler back. If you only knew what was happening here and that garage move. I've given up on the Harley build and the injector swap... For now. You let me know, I'll pack it up and send it back.

New battery,clean terminals.......IDK????When it does quit I hit the starter and nothin'!!Gauges are on lights work but nothing.I can't hear the fuel pump when it happens either.To me it sounds like the ECU is telling the bike it's tipped over and won't let it start.I don't know.Was creep'n on 54,000 miles and now it sits!

Sounds like a bad tilt sensor to me. It is located in the front cowl. Check the connections...may be loose.

Check the 15A ecu fuse under the seat.

tip over sensor is a good place to start also .. but i'd put my money on the grounding junction #2 over by the left air ram intake into the frame .. it be a black stub wrap in tape .. unwrap it and look and see if the copper turned green .. it can be cleaned and reinstalled .. it will do just like you explain when bad ..

Maybe a problem with the engine kill switch on the throttle side switchgear?
I had an old 93 CBR 1000F that had a very similar problem that turned out to be a dirty/poor contact in the switch.
I know when the switch is "OFF" on the 14,the fuel pump doesn't run and the starter won't engage just like you described. Or maybe the wiring to the switch?

maybe it's out of power pellets?

Oh man, you went & got Hub excited again.

Well I've think'n about this for awhile now.So I went back and read the manual about the tip over sensor.It turns off the fuel pump,ignition coils and ignition but it will still turn over!So I thought about the kill switch.A few years ago I cut one of the wires to put a teether switch on it for drag racing.Bullet connectors to make it easy on and off.Well I checked that and it felt tight but not.So I ended up saudering the wires back together and heat shrinking it.I'm hope'n this might be it

Have a 2006 ZX-14 turning over but not starting has new fuel pump new battery pc5 working gas tank cleaned new gas put in fresh oil change Could the bike not be staring because of the kill switch going bad come to find out previous owner put a whole in the black plastic almost as if they used a paper clip to put in there to make contact, not every time when u push down on the switch to the on position does the bike turn over but if u flip it back and forth a few times it will turn over currently have the bike at the shop and there scratching there heads
