to me that switch seems like it opens or closes a circuit instead of toggling between two circuits.
Right so far.
I guess an on/off would work to switch to map 2 if the PCV will go back to map 1 by default
There is this flipflop and both are still using the same integrated chip out of those screw pins.
when the circuit for map2 is shut off. My guess is that's how the DJ switch works.
They are handcuffed to the parts inside so this flip, flops over to the other map more or less.
If there were two inputs for switching maps, then a toggle switch would be necessary.
There is: 1-1 and 2-2. If I configure, I kill the map with the shift. The other way is auto reflash my base map.
Probably a toggle switch functions as an on/off if you use it for switching maps.
Kill - Configure.
AutoT - Configure.
Switch - Configured I'm in base map 1-1 so I run base 1 map. I saved an autoT map, sent it to map 2 as base map 2. I am open at my 1-1 wires and am running base map1. I close the toggle so 1-1 are connected to each other, map2 is now flipped over to being read as the map data. 1-1 is killed as in grounded like the shifter so the other side goes hot in the flop so now the other map defaults or you lit it up on the flip of the toggle, grounded the other and look at that 3prong switch acting the same exact way in a sense.
Flop = Map 1 [no. 1-1 pins connected to 0.18v and (-)] ~ OPEN
Flips = to Map 2 [pins 1-1 made a mechanical (wires connect) ie, magnetic switching to] CLOSED.
Flips = Map 2 [no. 2-2 pins connected to 0.18v and (-)] ~ OPEN
Flops = to Map 1 [is to spread your fingers out and only 4 flipflops at the thumb to pinky, thumb to thumb, etc.]
So if I use my thumbs as 0's and my pinky's as 1's, I just laid out 4 binary combinations of E speak 1100 or 1010, or 0011 and you get the idea of 4 pins at the pc are doing this numbering kind of data change in the binary speak. And for argument sake, I pulled those binary numbers out of a hat.
I have less than average electronics knowledge
A few of the basics if you can figure it out. I'm still in a learning curve myself. If 0-0 is ground and 1-1 is hot and both went nowhere, wouldn't 1-0 be connected and so would 0-1? Finger up and find out = HANDCUFFED to the legs of that chip are 1-1 and 2-2 = 4 Legs.
