Anybody bought any fairings on ebay? Are the kits any good? I did see a CBR 600 with the black with red flames fairing he got on ebay. Looked pretty good.

I have had iwo occasions to use these. First time was on my friends' 07 CBR1000RR. They were $600 and they looked great (moviestar replica). However they were a pain to fit-up and after a while they chipped easy and one of the stickers started comeing off by the header. They also began to crack. They are 3 years old now. They still look good from about 10 feet. The second time I put a set of Fiat yamaha on a 03 R1. They were $500 and looked like thicker abs. They fit-up pretty good, just had to reem out all the holes because of the paint job. Neither kit came with a seat cowl and depending onwhat color you get you may have to paint your tank. For what we did with them I was happy. For the money you can't go wrong, but there not as good as OEM.

Hallo Slidderhd...hope yer doing well!Why not contact member corybusa?He's got OEM bodykits for sale.Good prices as well.Yer takin a big risk gettin those Chinese or Taiwanese parts there.Cheap...yeah....lots of rip offs out there.

It not just about fitment(which they are lacking)but ABS quality as well.Lots of heat cycles and expansion/contraction going on with our bikes.
