2013 14R ABS Done for now...
07/13/15 10:19 AM

I think I am done spending money on mods, now just need to put on some miles! I have a trip to Laguna Seca for WSBK coming up this week, and that will tell me if I will order a Corbin saddle or not. Otherwise now with the luggage lids painted and the hugger, I think I am done. Absolutely loving the bike, can't wait to get on the road on Thursday! Here are a couple of pics of the "finished" product. Feel free to fire away if you have any questions about any of the farkles, this here forum was VERY helpful for me in picking things out.

Hugger, PowerBronze, kinda hard to see...

Looks Fantastic! That's one of the darkest screens I've seen but it matches the bike very well.

I'm jealous of the trip you're taking, should be awesome. I'm going to Indy next month for MotoGP, always a great time and the 14R eats up miles easily. (I also have Gen-Mar risers and lowered pegs, great additions for seeing the world)

She looks Very nice. Not over the top.!!!
That MRA double bubble looks to have a couple of openings in the lower portion of the screen
Is that correct?

Wow.

The bag's color matches the scooter so well it belies their bulk.

Looks five times better than Danno's bike.

Thank you for the compliments, continue to absolutely love the bike. Also, yes, the MRA does have two holes on the bottom, otherwise it is black so you can't see through it, or mount a go-pro on your tank and film through windshield like some do. The trip (some random pics below) taught me that the stock seat is not great after 7-8 hours in a saddle so will be ordering a Corbin for it. Otherwise, bike was flawless, comfortable, quick etc.

After going to Monterey/Laguna Seca every year for the races starting in 1997, never ever had to wake up to rain (only Sunday) before, but thankfully it stopped by the time we rode to the track and actually never did get rained on the whole trip. We left the track after WSBK Race two, and did not witness the tragedy (two racers died) that happened during the second AMA/MotoAmerica race. RIP.

Stopped at the famous Rock Store on the way up...fun roads around there!

Highly recommend Turn 12 Bar and Grill in downtown Monterey, great food, beer, wine and racing memorabilia!

Saw (and heard) this group of Honda Trail 70s, some nicely hopped up, everywhere

Really would like to have one of these one day...

Good trip!

Agreed on the stock seat! My upper thighs are very sore after a day of riding, if not sooner.

Would love a reasonably priced alternative, but haven't found one I'm willing to pull the trigger on, yet.

I hear Corbins are hard.

@BlkCasper, totally remember seeing your bike at the ROK area...there was another nice one there with some really nice gold colored rearsets and levers I was checking out. Great trip this year!

Looks like you don't need the drop brackets. Too bad I already spent the beer money you sent me for them.
