I love where I Live!
06/02/11 10:11 PM

Well Wednesday was the first official day of Winter here in OZ, and the weather is absolutely magnificent. Spent the whole weekend last week on the 14 lapping up the idylic sunny mild weather, temp was just right for staying comfortable in the leathers. Now we have a long weekend coming up with more of the same weather forecast. Which equals 3 days of riding bliss

One of my planned rides, It doesn't get any better than this

Looks pretty nice. Can't ask for better but here in NA, the long range forecast doesn't count for much-- I'd be keeping an eye on that. Hope it is delivered as promised.

You don't have a spare room available big enough for one person and a ZX14 would you there, Brenny? I want to visit there someday but I'd want my bike with me.

Yeah your on the on the Money Rook, I tend to have more faith in my arthritic knee forecasting the weather than I do in the weatherman. But he occasionly gets it right - heres Hoping.

I'm sure we could accomodate you Edge, plenty of room in the garage for more bikes, but you'd have to bunk in with my 22 year old daughter, I'm sure she wouldn't mind

Absolutely Awesome, the weather man got it right, just finished 3 glorious days in the saddle of the red machine.
Life can't get any better. Now the dilemma is.... with more of the same weather forecast for the rest odf the week, do I go to work or call in sick to clock up more K's in the saddle??????

CA does that sometimes. When I lived in Monterey and commuted to San Jose (doing an IT contract for Schwab) years ago, it rained every day in February.

About an hour and a half commute, often in traffic, on a motorcycle, in the rain.

I rode in a suit with a rain suit over it, with rain boots, and kept my dress shoes in my office.

I was very happy when it quit around the first day of March, and even more happy when the kids got out of school and we picked up the whole kit, dogs, bikes, cars, everything, and moved to San Jose.

Then I got a contract in San Francisco with Schwab, and I had another 1-1/2 hour commute for 6 months.

So it ain't something new, Mad, and it will happen from time to time. Deal. :)
