DogoZX,

I don't know much about Aprila's but I have a Ducati 1198 and a MV F4 1000. In my opinion the MV is the way to go the power delivery is more like-able then the Duc. The Ducati has a lot of power down low then fades away as you go faster where on the MV the power is more throughout the gears like the ZX14 to a point. Of course if you have the money to put in to it you can correct any problems to suit you better. I know a few people who have put a lot of money into there bikes and they put out some crazy numbers but I don't have that kind of cash off hand. Also I don't know your size but both bikes are tight for 6 foot plus guys so you are only really going to get a half a day ride on it then you are going to want off. That's why the ZX14 is best for me it's and all day type of bike the money I put in to the ZX14 went a lot further then my other bikes.

Bottom line you can't go wrong with either one of your choices...

Good luck.

I'm gonna wait to get a 2011 10r when I can pick up a leftover for a discount. I want one, just don't feel like I need it today.

the Aprila RSV Mille R 01 for sure as an original classic to ride rarely though (investment)

I'm probably gonna call and see if I can set up a day to look at the Ape. Looks like a very cool bike for the $$$ and it is probably bottomed out, value wise.

Some sweet steeds in your stable! Thanks for the input. Pics?

I have a '05 10r and '08 zx14. So I already have the crazy and the comfortable covered. If I pick up another bike it likely won't be ridden much. Maybe a couple thousand miles a year. I came real close to pullin' the trigger on an '06 MV Agusta a few days ago. Still might... but for $1-$2k more (maybe even same price with some negotiation) the upgrades on an '07 seem worth it. So I dunno. Not like I need another bike... but I've never tasted Italian.

The '07 Aprilia.

Dis one???

What about a 2009?

Maybe an '08???

I'm not the best with up loading photo's or taking them at all but I will get them up there. Yeah I have quite a few bikes always loved them I'm trying to get my hands on a 1991 GSXR1100 Blue/White & 1993 CBR900rr Red/White/Blue. When I retire I'm going to open up my own shop and carry every bike brand known to man. It's nice to dream...

I'm just not really a photo taker but I'm getting better with both. I have seen them all and I loved that show I don't know why they took it of the air?

I have spoken to just about every brand I could think of along with every accessories I could think of and have the info. to start up accounts with I even have a few spots for a location but right now I don't have the time to get it off the ground but in 2 years when I retire it's on.

I would love a partner to share the load.

Everybody I've spoken to tells me and from what I can see it requiters a lot of hands on time.

It's an instant collector bike. If that is a CC, and it looked like it had some front fender badge for 'special edition' possibly, it was never crashed. It looks stock, untouched.

The others are high milers and lots of crap on the bike. What is worth more money, a ferrari with a corvette engine in it or a corvette with a ferrari front end and a corvette rear. Dis we just destroy two cars that were bone stock perfect?

I'm more a, pee your ist. The holder of garage queens. But this isa ana eye tail yawn anda a due cot tea is a bag of tea bag worth of watered down bike is look at that MV.... LOOK AT IT!

Youa looka thata bikea, hatsa bikea! Key peeish?

I know... look at it, touch it, smell it, listen to it... it's f'n beautiful!

That one isn't a CC though. Best price I've seen on those is about $60k... and that's 50% off!

Wow, you're not f'n around! I'd love to do something like that. Livin' the dream! When you're ready to franchise, lemme know.

Agusta looks the best I think, and its newer... they are all sexy bikes but I tend to go newer than older... I wish I had your guys' money holy shat!! I cringe when I have to fork over $1100 just for the insurance on my 14!! I think we pay that for my wife's 08 Edge, and my 09 Titan combined full insurance with 2 million liability!!

SheIT! I was going broke paying some other insurance I had to drop it and now they mail back, "we want you back!" And slashed the price more than half! I still beat that price, they could not even come close and now... Cash Waiting w/trade-in. Yeah, I bought few lotto so we could all have a franchise. The boss said to 'get ready' a 1000 for demo. And demo the CC for our other clients we tease them with lunch, they ride there, we buy their .... SheYEAH! I wish!

2mil-liable? Hell, the interest alone on a 100 mil X's 3% = A lot!

Sounds like you are doin' ok to me.

Nice thing about owning bikes, here in WA, is that insurance isn't required. ... $1100 for a year on your 14? Yeah, I wish!

Yeah, I bought few lotto so we could all have a franchise.

Have you checked your ticket? Two winners sold for the Mega. Fingers crossed.

Hey we could all be doing better but it's not to bad if you own one bike or many bikes it's all for the love of it. If you have a home a job and someone who loves you then your doing better then most.

DogoZX,

I will keep you in the loop. With all this talk it's been getting my blood going I made a few more contacts today with a local shop starting to go out of business the owner told me that he has maybe a year left he said the motorcycle business has been hard on him for the pass few years and it's not what it use to be. I'm going to take a look at his books and see if this thing may get off the ground a few years early.

So... what do you guys think about this one???2007 Aprilia RSV-R Superbike - $7999

Stock, low miles, good price, and I'm thinkin' a twin would be cool since it's so much different than the I4's???

My boy has one and he swears that it is the $hit but we never get out together and see what each others got but he has a lot more money then me and is a lot smaller then me so he may have it on the kid. He's looking to pick up a ZX14 or a Hayabusa in the spring so he can run up top with the big boyz!!

DogoZX,

Looks like that there is some money burning in you pocket...

Good for you!

Really just window shoppin'... but you never know. It's a good time of year to get a deal.

I respect the opinions around here so figured I start a post. Maybe just winter bordom. The rest of the parts for my 14 need to show up. Once I'm f'n with that thing, I'll probably forget about pasta for awhile... Damn ADD.

Right on. Got big plans? I know I do. Been a year and a half since my '06 threw a rod... spent the last 18 months just thinkin' about the things I wanted to do to that bike... Now that I have another one, look out!
