Nice vid...but I'm not seein 207?I'm seeing the same as mine....with topspeed limiter removed .Someone was getting your speed recorded?Mine RPMS out at 12 something...still my speedometer reads just like yours. They won't go farther past that 190 mark on there? That's what I've been judging my top speed at....my 07 wouldn't go past that mark...and my 2013 doesn't either.Though my 2013 is off by 3mph...on my 07...it was speedohealed to be dead on at full tilt.

What mods have you done?
If you watch, after he eases off the throttle it take a second for the needle to start moving. Im sure hes going over the 187 the speedo stopped at.

This was from my recent trip to Loring Maine.
Which was a timed event at the old Loring Air Force base.
So my actually speed was 207.7 in the mile and a half.

CBlast did do my computer which increased the rev limit.
Thanks again Sebastian

"520 lbs"...can you tell me what this is?
IF you had gone with a 42 or more rear sprocket, would your top speed have increased?Or was there a reason to go with a 40 rear?
I have a Brock's full system...single CT exhaust....bst wheels...Vortex aluminum rear sprocket.At a half tank of fuel...I'm sitting right at 520.That's why I'm asking about your '520' reference there...how'd you manage to do that with a stock(mostly)zx14R?
And also...big congrats there for rippin her up and getting that 200+...awesome;)
Kinda makes me wonder now...on my 'top speed' spot that I go to...if I'm hitting 200 and don't know it?Mine is taching out up close to 12K...maybe even 12...No more throttle(wide open)and open that way for many seconds...maybe half minute. She stops pulling.Never noticed the dial 'lagging' as I backed out...like yours is showing.

I think I mentioned to you once before Grn. The speedo on the R stops at 190mph. Your speeds will increase past that. The speedo just stops there. You have probably been hitting 200 since I first flashed you Grn!!! Rofl! You are so fuckin fast you think 2 bones is slow! Hahahaha! Awesome man!
and Capt.! What am awesome video! The way you melt through the gears! Comfident stable and planted all the way to 207.7! That is just stunning sir! Wow! You are a credit to the machine!

"This is the top of the line. 103 cubic inches of air and precision cooled Harley-Davidson® V-twin power. Twin cooling cools the heads around the exhaust ports to deliver 'at or near peak performance' under all operating conditions and temperatures"...copied from a Harley site's description of a particular model. How wouldja like buyin a 27,000 plus bike to read...'at or near'...What if...'near' happens to be passing someone and realizing.."oh shit...I aint got enough go now to make this"LOL!!!...speaking from my OWN experience with a 2014 Road King...with..."improved passing performance"...passing at 80 mph.Needless to say...I sold it the NEXT dayLOL!!!!
My beloved Ninja would've gone by at warp speed without a trace of...."can I?"LOL!!!I LOVES my Ninja!!!!
Geez...my 2000 Heritage with a simple breather kit WAY outshined the 'new improved' 2014.Just kick er down a gear or two...and open er up...PLENTY of passing strength.I miss that bike...kinda...some....it was a fun ride fer sure. One thing...I could never manage to figure out WHY I shouldn't ride it like the motor looked.Wound her out all the time...she didn't mind that at all;)Had an ignition module on there...and nice open pipes...definitely waked er up.
Ridden here and encountered some Harleys...definitely these ones had a tad more than stock.Nice bikes.Had one guy pass me at 120...ah...I let em go...kinda cool to see that actually...and he was ridin two up;)One of those Ultra Classics or somethin...fully dressed anyway.Had to smile over that deal.

Capt what do you have for mods? I only ask because I went to Loring two years in a row trying to get bucket list check of hitting 200..... I went with a 2009 ZX14 with a Super Sport ported head, 48 mm throttle bodies, BMC filter, PCV with custom tune, BST wheel with ceramic bearings, shora battery, and a 30 shot of NOS, Don G flashed Ecu, and some more crap I can't even remember right now and got 199 in the mile and 203.43 in the 1.5 with a 17/41 and to get that I had to go from 30hp jets in the nos to 40 and also cool the one pound bottles in the cooler and then pack the crap outta them with the funny stuff and then let her rip... I hit the button at about 125 and never lifted till I saw the triple XXX flags.....Man what a rush but it wasn't easy at all. The first time I went I had all those mods but the Nos and my best was 190. It was windy but still....

LOL!...I don't HAVE a cell phone...and as for that top run today....gps'd and all...she still only hit 190.Didn't try again for another run...maybe I didn't have enough room...IDK.You say 1.5 mile run...IDK if mine was that far...she was wide open though.Possibly a VERY SLIGHT uphill...could be.I usually run that run going the other way.I may try again...kinda gettin to the point of sayin "s'all good...190's okay";)
The gps wasn't acting right either...it did record 190 however...new batteries as well.Had some 'trouble' finding the satellites a couple of times. And this was 'out in the open'...go figure;)

The items that got me to 200mph
Cblast modified ecu
BMC race filter
Brock CT full exhaust
Brock HD clutch springs with .280 spacer.
ceramic bearings
Vortex Aluminum 40T - had a 42 and 39 didn't use either
zero gravity BD
Euro front directionals / flush mounted
Pro gear 21 -0 0il
Shorai baattery
HyperPro damper.
all unnecessary items removed - mirrors, foot pegs, bar end weights, etc
some parts made by me to remove some more weight.
that got me to 520 lbs
heavily lubed the chain with wd-40 and wiped off excess before each run
polished bike before each run.
And the biked liked the way I broke her in and it shows.
