If we don't get lot of snow tonight, (due to the nor'easter as they are predicting), tomorrow I am getting the rear stand. There is a Cycle Gear store 45 minutes from my house.

Bought mine there too for 34$. Install the spindles. Much smoother and more secure.

Thanks. If by spindles you mean the swingarm spools, I ordered them on Amazon two weeks go, but a few days ago the UPS guy "delivered" my package to a complete stranger (no name/ID or signature requested) in front of my apartment building. Now my parts are nowhere to be found.

I am also planning to purchase a new set of spools at Cycle Gear. I was checking out earlier today what size bolt I need for my ZX-14, and found a thread from 2009, Rook discussing the bolt size. (10mm)

Yea the rear stand comes with spool AND swingarm attachments, at least when I bought mine a couple months ago they did ...

I dipped my spool attachment in plastidip, so it doesnt scratch up the swingarm when you use the spools

Yep, still does. I was tempted to buy the Pit Bull rear stand today, but the TRACKSIDE rear paddock stand does the job.

Yea pitbulls are real nice, top quality, but for my use, I could spend the money some where else, you might want to dip the spool attachments in a couple of coats of plasti-dip, if you use the spools, I think home depot has it for like $6 a can, should be plenty in one can if you use a small container to dip it in ..

Just to clarify, the swingarm attachment scratch up the swingarm or the spools? Here is a picture I found from msszx14 bike. For illustrative purposes only I added the red arrows.
