Looks like I'm headed for Mobile Alabama in the next 60 days, anyone have any suggestions on moving five bikes? My company will pick up the tab for the move. Last time I had only two bikes and the moving company did a good job, no scratches but I know there are companies that specialize in this stuff, about 700 miles.

Seriously though. Mayflower. They moved my busa with the akrapovic evo exhaust which was about five minutes old. I was worried. They crated her up and she arrived and was perfect. Fast. And reasonable. They got her from anchorage to silverdale Washington in like 5-6 days even though they said like 14. I was happy.

I'd get a trailer if I were you. Pit Bull has a great trailer restraint system for about $300/bike.

You will need a trailer in the near future. I'd bet money on it.

1Bad, called earlier, problem solved, he'll move the bikes out to Mobile for a reasonable price. He's got a ton of experience hauling bikes around so no need to trust strangers.

Sounds like fun Wolf, unfortunately duty calls, my company is being taken over and they're closing out the Dallas field office. It was either Mobile or start looking for another job. I'm just happy they're going to keep me on, haven't heard the $$$ offer yet though.

I can be bonded if you want to pay for the bonding.. my insurance covers whats ever towed with the truck.

if you want to insure the bikes for more we can get additional insurance

Sounds like a winner to me, long as I know if something happens, truck flips over, hurricane blows it in a ditch etc. it's all covered. What does an additonal policy cost...ballpark... to cover the five bikes just during transport?
